Traveler Journals: Second Batch 1
Since the first batch of traveler journals went by pretty fast and ended up looking pretty good I decided to go ahead and make another batch. The process for these guys is pretty much the same as the previous ones with just slight differences in the design.
Initial steps for these guys are the same as the ones found in this blog entry: Part 1
The 'bumps' were made out of air drying clay and then glued onto the covers. I decided to add some overlapping dragon scales to two of the books.
Proceeded to add gesso to the covers and then went on to paint them...
Guy at the bottom got a bit of gold smeared onto its scales...
Next step on these guys is adding the blackwash! Blackwashing is pretty awesome since it is done rather quickly and it really makes the projects features pop up more...just lovely!
Thank you for reading and feel free to comment or ask questions!
Random Note: there is this spanish band called Ska-P which always puts me on a very good and happy mood so anytime i am being lazy or getting tired whilst working I end up listening to them...like right now...
